JULIE INMAN COURAGE AWARD

Application For graduating Seniors


Courage deserves recognition!! A favorite quote wisely says "Courage does not always roar - sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow !" The author is unknown.

This award, to be used to further educational or vocational goals,is given to a student who shows courage by going forward after a life-changing event, i.e., a tremendous personal obstacle. It recognizes courage and determination over physical and/or learning disabilities, illness of self or family member, financial difficulties, the death of a loved one and/or unusually difficult circumstances at home. Please write an essay of 1000 words or less describing your courageous situation, being specific and giving details pertaining to your own story. Applications are due March 1st, 2012.
